ORBIT
INSPIRATION
The main influences that informed the aesthetic represent the earth, the moon and the stars. These natural phenomena are mesmerizing when they are affected by time.
Texture And Shadow
The simple beauty of how light reacts to the moon with its unique surface.
Orbital Paths
Time lapse photography shows us the true path of the stars due to earths rotation.
Relationship
Gravity makes the moon revolve around the earth, its an invisible force that bonds them.
North Star
A guiding point that informs your position in relation to everything else. A landmark in the night sky.
ESSENCE
The moon and earth are in a relationship created by gravity. Graphically, the simple expression of these two elements can be abstract and still convey the story.
This project was very spontaneous in order to render out an idea using a new modeling software to me. Once I started sketching these circles, everything clicked, which inspired me to jump into visualizing the final concept.
